People seem to assume that because my politics are generally leftist, that I agree and believe in the things that Michael Moore says. Likewise, many liberals I know seem to think that if you lean to the right, you agree and believe in what Bill O'reilly says. Michael Moore and Bill O'Reilly are pathetic excuses for humans and completely destroy the reputations of their respective ends of the political spectrum. My solution: suffocate them both in a big pile of truth. I'm not quite sure how an abstract idea can be used to suffocate someone, especially when one of them has to have lungs the size of a bull elephant to support his massive body, but if we brainstorm, I bet we can come up with an idea.

Moore is worse than O'Reilly. O'Reilly rarely willfully lies or makes things up out of thin air. Often he is overly ideological or heavy-handed, and sometimes he can be zealous. (especially on social issues) Overall he is a lot more honest than Moore though.

I don't particularly like either anyway.

I think it's just that O'Reilly is better at it. His entire career has revolved around half-truths - Moore has only become untrustworthy with Bowling for Columbine (which I liked despite the factual problems), and the second half of F 9/11 was fairly factual.

Surely you've read at least one of the 1000's of sites on the web proving some of Moore's claims inaccurate.

Actually, Liberty, I have looked at Tons of sites (feels like 1000) that try to refute Moore's claims, and even read "Michale Moore is a Big fat stupid white man". I have yet to see proof that he lied, only opinions on why it may not be true, or why it 'sounds' inaccurate. I have been able to denounce with evidence the contradictions that others have put forward to me thus far.

Interesting... I personally think Michael Moore grossly misrepresented the truth in his films, but am willing to hear your evidence, if you're willing to give it. What do you make of the claims in the PDF at this link?
