i'm watching this documentary on the past present and future of the world economy including how an economy works; aired on PBS. now i'm usually not one for documentaries, but this is one of the best i'v seen. if you've ever wanted to learn about the economy this is the movie for it. it's incredible how much i missed in highschool... i would highly recommend this, you could probably get it at the local library.

it shows by historical proof, that a capitalist system creates the best economy. not that it's the best for the people, (though i think it is) but that capitalism creates the strongest economy.
