"The Manchurian Candidate?" I've seen it many, many times. Great movie.

many conservatives are claiming it is an attack on Junior and haliburton.

I haven't seen the new version but the old version I've seen. Although I still don't understand why it was it was banned in the USA... Frank Sinatra's acting wasn't that bad. It was actually a pretty good movie.

What do you mean it was "banned in the USA?" I saw it back then. It was 1962....the year before Kennedy was assasinated. It was NOT banned. It WAS banned in the Eastern block and iron curtain countries......until 1993 when the Soviet Union collapsed. It WAS "suppressed" from movie theaters here....AFTER THE ASSASINATION OF JOHN F. KENNEDY. For obvious reasons.
