As long as Rock sticks with his humour and doesnt lean in with politics, at least in the Acedemy Awards, I wont complain..

all you want. You have that right. And as far as I can remember, Oscar hosts have always injected Politics into their presentation at some point. If you don't like CR injecting politics, that's fine.

But there is no need to provide yourself with "cover" by implying that you are not stating your displeasure because of racism. It is not neccessary.

It's probably because a lot of black people are extra sensitive(I don't blame them) about criticisms sometimes. A big problem is when the race card is played without any justification.

...of an insult when you have to "pre-qualify" your criticism by saying that. If you think CR sucks, simply say he sucks!! PERIOD!! If you say he sucks and proceed to qualify that by saying "but before you call me racist I like Cedric the Ent or Chris Tucker etc.." then you may actually be displaying or covering up ulterior motives.

Thats all I saying..

it's not covering up ulterior motives - just covering for blacks who 'like' to be offended, because it makes them feel better.
