were the Kooliest or the biggest druggies. In fact, the biggest
dopers actually had short hair like Richard Speck.
I never understood the appeal of ZZ Top.I knew a guy who had a
Cruddy Pawn Shop next to a Tattoo Parlor and he fashioned himself
after ZZTop.Same beard and long hair and attitude. He was the farthest
thing from Kool I could imagine.Being Kool is being Hip.
Like Maynard Krebs { Gilligan } of - Dobie Gillis -.
Jack Nicholson was Kool in the 60's ans he smoked Pot
daily as he mentioned in a Playboy magazine interview in the early
70's before he became a huge Star.He was a Ladies man and he liked
doing Amyll Nitrate { poppers},which is used during sex to heighen
the sensation.Nicholson never had long hair or a beard.
But yes, like ZZTOP he had them sunglasses.
Not Cheap sunglasses but Ray Ban.
But ya see, ZZ Top are just good ole Texas boys. They don't pretend to be anything else. A g/f grew up around Dusty Hill in West Texas... they're about as down-to-earth as you can get with all that hair.

Good morning everybody. Well it is Sunday here in Jackson. And the temperature is now 25 degrees with a possible high of 44 today. Yep Springtime has finally arrived. We have a forecast of a 50% chance of rain and snow for the next 6 days which is normal here. It is good to see all of the snow and ice starting to melt. Yesterday my heartbeat went down to 103 from 133 and then back up to 125 for the rest of the day. Hoping that it will continue to drop. Here is a nice spread for your breakfast this morning. Have a great day everyone.

I know what your thinking, and your right.

I agree.ZZTOP were just a bunch of gool old boys. But eventually
boys have to learn to just grow-up.To learn to remove the stage makeup
and costume they needed for a stage performance. They must be
low I.Q. er somethin.I mean it's just flat out dumb to spend an
adult life trying to give off the impression of bein' cool.
The same thing applies to Harley Owners.I would never waste good
money on a Hog { Harley } they are basically show bikes.Like all those
clone Motorcycles that aren't worth squat.Texas has American Iron
Horse and they're not bad but they ususally develop problems.
They are louder and have much more h.p. than the Older Harley.
On the way home yesterday from the Big city St.Patty's day parade I
was on a 2 lane highway and 3 guys on Harley's merged at a traffic
stop on my right. They were gettin ready to really acccelerate.I got
the jump on them and blew past them on the left. After I hit around 100 I got in the right lane and slowed down. They were from some Motorcycle gang
and had some club name on the back of their leather jackets plus the M C
    stitching.

C'mon foolie, we all enjoy our freedom of expression, don't we?
Willie Nelson, Lady Gaga, the young, the old, at Walmart or elsewhere, who are we to decide whether they should grow up?
Pursuit of happiness, song, dance, poetry, dress code...after all, its the inside that counts.

With that, happy Sunday all, and thanks for the breakfast OT.
How are you doing today? Are the veggies working for ya?

They don't allow freedom of expression (smoking pot) in Texas, just ask Willie. If Willie lived in Colorado or California he could get a prescription for it, just for a sore toe.

Well, since when did it ever stop our Willie from whatever he wants to do?
And who, in their right mind, would ever wanna leave Texas? No way Sir.

G'afternoon, y'all. Who likes losing that hour?

Little under the weather this weekend which is understandable since it's rained for 3 days. Sun's finally coming out... hopefully a sign things are improving.

Roast in the crockpot... think I'll make myself a toddy.
