Default the Balfour declaration

Dear Lord Rothschild,

I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of His Majesty's Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet.

"His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."

I should be grateful if you would bring this declaration to the knowledge of the Zionist Federation.

The Jewish homeland was established based upon this declaration, honoured by the UK as part of their mandate in the middle-east (although they may not have had much choice in the long run)


But given the hassle and death over the last 50 years due to the state of Isreal - Do you think that the World would have been a better place if the state of Isreal was never established?

That declaration had no meaning afterwards,as the British did everything besides deport Jews,in order to keep them out....It meant nothing.

Yes this is the treacherous letter that proves the Zionists will do anything and stab anyone in the back to get what they want.

The truth is the Jewish people were treated great in Germany until Germany found out the Zionists made a deal with the British to get their own homeland. The Zionist were required to betray Germany and bring the U.S. into WW1. The British were required to help them get their homeland. The Zionist needed Germany to do commit atrocities against the Jews and scare the Jews into leaving. The U.S. and England were required to close their countries to the refugee Jews so they had nowhere to go but the middle east. How many Jews the Zionist killed will never be known but they will kill their own just to get what they want.

The problem for many nations is not winning a war, but what they do with their victory. Germany, for example, was formed when Prussia fought a series of brilliant wars that allowed them to unify the various german states.
Unfortunately for them, Bismarck died and they got delusions of grandeur and tried to bully the rest of Europe. World Wars One and Two were the result, neither of which ended well for Germany.

Now we have Israel, temporary top dog in the Middle East, which is in the same sort of position, except their united nation contains a lot of people who don't want to be in their country (the Palestineans). I would agree with Kaka that the Palesitineans, and the arabs in general, have been very slow to make their peace with the idea of Israel, but the example of Egypt shows that it can happen.

Having been in Israel/Palestine and seen the Israel treatment of Palestineans firsthand, I would argue that the way the Israelis treat the Palestineans almost guarantees that they will continue to hate Israel. Israel has used its victory to, frankly, both bully the Palestineans and to steal from them (land, water rights, travel rights, economic opportunity, and even hope). If I was a young Palestinean, I'd want to kill an Israeli too.

History tells us that things change. If Israel doesn't wise up, that change will not be for the better.

I think that a state of Israel being formed was inevitable. IMO, the world is pretty much against Israel defending herself. Keep in mind, they've been here before. They didn't start those previous wars, and they didn't start this one either. Like the others, they'll finish it too.

Will Iran come to the defense of their Hezbollah? The stakes are increasing ever higher aren't they?
