Default Saudi King pledges $1.5 Billion for Lebanon

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14023353/

Alright! This is the best news I've heard in awhile from that region. Hezbollah or no Hezbollah, a stable functioning Lebanon is in everybody's best interests.

Default Okay, but....

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait have rebuked Hezbollah for the fighting in Lebanon. But that's just words! What have they actually done about it? Nothing, that I can see.

And the King says, ""It must be said that patience can't last forever....." He was talking about the bombing by Israel. But that statement works BOTH ways. Israel can also not expect to have patience that lasts forever. They are the ones who continually get attacked by both Hezbollah and Hamas. And I don't see any efforts from Saudia Arabia, Egypt, Jordan or Kuwait to stop them either. I see them give lip service to it, but no actions. And there is the problem!!!!

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait haven't done a thing to stop Hamas or Hezbollah. That should tell you something. And I think those are the moderate Arab states someone was referring to in another thread.

But the point is, the King has pledged the money and others need to come forward too. If Lebanon collapses then it will become the new Afghanistan and the days of Hezbollah will seem like the good old days.

Default ?

Coming forward with money is all well and good. But NOT if it's going to be given to Hezbolllah to continue building arms. Is Saudia Arabia SURE that is not going to happen? Or do they really care?

That's my point.

I don't think they care in the least either. In fact, most...if not all....in the Middle East if truth be known REALLY support Hezbollah. Even though they give lip service for the opposite. The hate for Jews runs deep.

Default Self preservation ????

Do you think that maybe the Saudi's are forking over the money to "rebiuld" Lebanon so that Hezbolah will have a place to stay such as Hezbolahonia therefore not migrate to the SAIDI KINGDOM ?????????????
