associate pkk (terrorists fed by the west) with kurds.
we see the problem as a kurdish problem yeah?
    well it isn't.

turkish republic have been 100% fair to each group that exists
within our borders? no one can rightfully claim that.

but were they specifically harsh against any particular group?
    i highly doubt that.
because i'll tell you what... no one is 100% turk, not for a long time.
that's idiotic even to argue about people's origin.
we are all from somewhere, but the roof is turkey.

there is a terrorism problem in turkey.
and i showed you the reasons above.

    and one last thing:
if you betray your country, then you betray your country.
    no other explanation.

and if you tyrannise people, you do tyrannise people.
    no other explanation either.

we should all stay in / no division or anything.
    and work together for co-existance.

    for sure,
    united we are stronger.
1)yes they are, bothers and so on just a words where are real political actions ?
    2) you are right here, the kurds the only one left... , just imagine what ´d be: if it was not the genocide... and you still have 3-6 millions Armenians....

aaah, the armenian card, how original.
i thought we were talking about kurds.

but since you brought it up ask yourself to be fair:

why nobody is after france, england, united states,
russia, china and others to admit their massive killings/genocides?

    every tyranny has an end.

the unity and brotherhood you speak of caused kurds massive sufferings and oppression , because of that kurds actually suffered if they fought for independence back then , so this what you speak of was used by ataturk and in the end we were backed stabbed and stumbled all over , you learn from your mistakes and move on , and we know now where unity and brotherhood with turks gets us , we have been there and done that not going back on it again , we as kurds only look forward to our cause not backward .

have the right for "self-determination" in areas where kurds form majority , S.D. is also a chapter in UN charter and since turkey is a member in UN and thus has to respect UN charters once it gets to that, just like how turkey supports Palestine independence .

so the unity and brotherhood between us has expired and we as kurds will not go there again , the solution is in the hands of kurds themselves to decide their own fate via a UN supervised referundum , this will only end the conflcict , and also separating pkk from kurds is like separating ataturk from turks .

and this article is very much related to what you said about kurds and pkk , scroll down to the bold part

EU International Conference Analyzes Kurdish Issue

BRUSSELS, Belgium--The 8th International Conference on the EU, Turkey and the Kurds was held in the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday.

The Quest for Democracy in Turkey - Universal Rights and Kurdish Self-Determination and the Struggles over the New Constitution was the title and main focus of the conference.

The conference was opened by a speech from Kariane Westerheim, head of the European Union--Turkey Civic Commission. Westerheim expressed her regrets for the death of famous Kurdish politician Ismet Seref Vanli and former French first lady and friend of the Kurds Danielle Mitterrand.

Westerheim said that the conference was happening at a time when Turkey was planning to rewrite its constitution which would provide a chance to solve the Kurdish issue in that country constitutionally.

Westerheim referred to Turkey’s thriving economy, but also to the continuing arrest of political activists, killings and military operations.

Among the patrons of the conference were Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Shirin Ebadi, and Bianca Jagger, Council of Europe Goodwill Ambassador and Professor Noam Chomsky.

The head of Diyarbakir municipality Osman Baydemir attended the conference through video conference and spoke about the arrest and imprisonment of Kurdish political activists in Turkey.

“They (politicians) reached their posts through people’s vote,” Baydemir who is banned from leaving Turkey told the conference. “The Turkish state has filled the prisons with members of the municipality.”

Baydemir criticized the European Union for its silence toward the arrest campaigns in the Kurdish areas of Turkey.

Prominent Kurdish MP and politician Layla Zana gave a speech and said that the conference was taking place at a “very sensitive time”.

“The earthquake in Van did not only show us the destruction of homes,” Zana said. “It also showed us the disintegration of the political system in Turkey. The system cannot answer the needs of this age,”

Zana presented a recommendation to the audience, saying, “The best solution is a referendum. The most suitable way is to open doors to people and have them decide in a referendum what they want. We will all abide by people’s choice,”

Former chairman of the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) and current MP in the Turkish Parliament Ahmet Turk spoke about the Turkish constitution with regard to minority groups in Turkey.
“This time the best opportunity has risen for Kurds and other ethnic groups to assert their place in the constitution,” he said. “But I assure you that unless the main Articles are amended; changing a few insignificant Articles won’t help the Kurds.” said Ahmed Turk.

Turk suggested that Kurdish and Turkish intellectuals, politicians and journalists can present a project to changing the constitution.

“In that case,” he said. “Any side that doesn’t accept it would be the terrorist.”

Former US Congressman Lincoln Davis, a participant at the conference spoke of the importance of solving the Kurdish plight.

Congressman Davis said that in the past the Kurds used to say, “We have no friend but the mountains,” but now we are their friends.

Canadian Liberal MP Jim Karygiannis, said that Turkey does not respect other ethnic groups that live in the country.

Karygiannis said that if Turkey had understood the word “respect”, the problems could be solved.

Well-known Turkish journalist Cengis Candar said the Turkish government tries to separate Kurdish movements from the Kurdish people.

“Turkey wants to put the PKK outside the Kurdish question and that is not how you solve a problem,” he said.

Candar added, “Our criticism does not mean the Turkish government has done nothing. It has taken good steps, but the efforts have been misused and not reached conclusion.”

The conference prepared a resolution on the Kurdish issue in Turkey to be presented to the European Parliament.

kurds have nothing to do with palestinians.
    very different scenarios.

on the other hand, sure, every minority desires freedom.
kurds too have been fed with the self-determination idea
for decades. naturally, they are seeking land now.

now, is that enough for kurds to found a state at iraqi lands?
or do they want to divide turkey for sure?

in other words, will you go and live in iraqi kurdistan?
or do you feel like you must seize those lands that turkey
    has been nourishing for years?

my idea is this is not about freedom, it's about the hatred.
and having the obsessession of being oppressed for so long
that turks deserve a punishment; whatever the cost may be.

no kurds will not go to KRG , kurds in turkey are living there side by side the turks in the turkish region of turkey , there is kurdish region and there is turkish region , so why we would we abandon our land ? who does that ? 15 million kurds will not abandon their native lands because there region lies within a border which is forced on them . there is a kurdish region i iran and syria , turkey is not alone here . they all have to be freed via a referendum similar to south Sudan . and i dont see Palestinians abandon their land to go and live in the other 22 arab countries . your logic failed before it began .

    cheers

it was never the case that in 1923 turkey was all turkish and the kurdish region was empty , kurds started migrating there from space . this is not the case hence the land is theirs and they have fought on these lands for decades and despite all the oppression from the turkish government , kurds to this day form majority in their region .

so its not the matter of splitting turkey it is just the matter of excluding the kurdish region from your border which should have been prevented in 1923 , this is an unfair move and has to come undone .

i do not wish any harm to turkish people , we do not seek land where turks are majority , in towns and cities where turks have lived , we only want our kurdish city and towns to have self-rule and to have its own independent border , as "turkey" is for turks , kurds and their region has nothing to do with that .

don't you even know how they founded israel?
how they bought land from palestinians.
how they occupied and claimed those lands?

    turkey had a history.
    that's really elementary knowledge.
    look, it's simple:

turks in anatolia -> ottoman empire -> independence war -> turkey.

i don't remember turkey buying land from kurds.
    or occupying someone else's lands.

on the other hand, yours are nice stories of course.

turgut ozal , 2 time prime minister and the president of turkey
was kurdish descendent, you know that right?
our current government has lots of kurds, in fact running
turkey's economy and politics as we speak
    you know that too right?

boy, the tortures that turks must have applied to
all the kurds who worked in turkey's high degree positions...

they must have been really oppressed to be elected.
how touching to see them getting all that struggle
    for running turkey, as kurds.

    sarcasm aside;
it's not about freedom, it's about brains getting washed
    since childhood.

your constitution article 140 says "there is no other nations in turkey besides turks" thus you have denied my existence so how can you give me positions if i dont exist ?

yes ottomans fought to invade more land but in the end other nations got rid of the empire except the kurds cos you turks used the same ideology you pulled on here "lets work together and united" no thanks . we want out . i say it again kurds who form majority in the kurdish region must have the right for self-determination , we also fought with you in the ottoman empire which proves we did not buy lands either we were there side by side but its 2 regions turkish and Kurdish which is combined together , turks rule over us deprive us of basic rights then come and give us 1% of our rights like its a concession for eg there is the only Kurdish tv on "TRT" vs 100s of turkish tvs channels . we want to have self - rules we want to control our region in every aspect have our own army and use the resources for our people . if you want to study in your language in the unis and colleges we should be able to do the same , if you have the right to have your army we should too we fought side by side in the ottoman empire and were in our kurdish region back then till this day , our region belongs to us only and only we must have the right to decide our fate .

so i dont know how you can say there are kurds in your country while your constitution and ataturk both say there is only "1 nation and 1 flag" !!!!
