By neighbors you mean 23 hostile arab regimes that refused to recognize Israel in 1948, invaded tiny Israel trying to wipe it off the map and have been trying to achieve that goal one way or another ever since, right?

Actually despite occupying mere 0.2% of the region, being outnumbered by 75:1 ratio (arabs only, excluding non-arab muslims like Iranians) and having to constantly defend its right to exist, Israel has become an amazing country with amazing people.

Not really. It's like $8 per american per year. Most of the money comes back to the US as military and other orders supporting the American economy and keeping the jobs in the US. The money is given to Israel with lots of strings attached and the US is not shy about pulling those strings whenever and in whatever direction it wants to.

Last but not the least, the US aid is about 1% of Israel's GDP so it most definitely is not footing the bill for everything, it's footing a fraction of Israeli military orders in America. But hey, what's a little exaggeration between antisemites?
