Default crime against children- palestinian style

http://www.pmw.org.il/tv%20part3.html

Hamas TV broadcast a video dramatization of the four-year-old daughter of female suicide bomber Reem Riyashi singing to her dead mother and vowing to follow in her footsteps.
Quote:
The video clip ends as the little girl picks up sticks of explosives from her mother's drawer.
[Daughter sees mother preparing explosives sticks]

"Mommy, what are you carrying
in your arms instead of me?

[Mother turns to hide bomb]

A toy or a present for me?...
Mommy Reem!
Why did you put on your veil?
Are you going out, Mommy?...
Come back quickly, Mommy
I can't sleep without you,
unless you tell me and Ubaydah [her brother] a bedtime story.

[Daughter sees mother's picture and news story about bombing on PA TV]

My mother, my mother,
Me and Ubaydah are awake and waiting for you
to come to put us to sleep.
Me and Ubaydah, oh Mommy,
still need you to wipe our tears...
Instead of me you carried a bomb in your hands.
Only now, I know what was more precious than us...
May your steps be blessed,
and may you be flawless for Jerusalem.
Me and Ubaydah wish we were there with you.

[Images of her mother's grave and the graves of other terrorists,
including Aayat Al-Akhras, 17-year-old female suicide terrorist]

Send greetings to our Messenger [Muhammad] and tell him:
'Duha loves you.'
My love will not be [merely] words.
I am following Mommy in her steps.

[Finds explosives that mother left in her drawer,
picks up stick of explosives]

Oh Mommy, oh Mommy."

You Hasbaratoo are unable to see the Israeli methods.

The Israeli method is the total annihilation of any Palestinian presence in Israel. Majdal became Ashkelon, Lydda became Lod the re-naming was not done to aid the Hebrew speakers as the Sabra were using the old names anyway.

The Israeliophiles demonise all Palestinians as terrorists. While they teach intolerance and hate, they claim Palestinians teach their kids hate. Human Rights Watch documented the discrimination against Palestinian-Arab children in Israel's schools.

http://www.hrw.org/reports/2001/israel2/

A study by The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs concluded Israeli textbooks and children's literature promote racism and hatred toward Palestinians and Arabs.

Quote:
Israeli school textbooks as well as children’s storybooks, according to recent academic studies and surveys, portray Palestinians and Arabs as “murderers,” “rioters,” “suspicious,” and generally backward and unproductive. Direct delegitimisation and negative stereotyping of Palestinians and Arabs are the rule rather than the exception in Israeli schoolbooks.
http://www.washington-report.org/bac...9/9909019.html

Palestinians both the lawful Palestinian Israeli citizens of the state and the Palestinians living under occupation are depicted stereotypically, in racist vocabulary and racist visuals, as a demographic threat. The Israeli discrimination of Palestinians is presented as a national necessity. The West Bank and Gaza occupied territories are put forward as part of the state of Israel but their Palestinian inhabitants, cities and cultural sites are missing from maps, photographs and graphs. The Israeli books promote the ideal of an Arab-free land as a condition for the existence of the Jewish state.

Quote:
Palestinians have been engaged in non-violent resistance to colonisation and occupation efforts for over 100 years. Yet, the western media under Zionist pressure refuse to report on these things and when some reporting is done, it is biased and distorted. Israeli terrorism is ignored while any Palestinian violent resistance is magnified, highlighted, and portrayed as irrational and unlinked to the occupation and colonization of our homeland.
http://www.qumsiyeh.org/palestiniann...entresistance/

All the Hasbara twins can concentrate on is Palestinian violence in response to Israeli violence.
I see you can only use one cut and paste article at a time Hasbaratoo.

You only need put a few bits from the article and a link.

Default But they are only Jewish kids and they don't count

Much more important is the quality of Arab schools in Israel, right Ash?

Justice: Kids do not have enough time to reach shelters during Qassam attacks
By Ynetnews February 8, 2007

Children attending western Negev schools may not have enough time to reach shelters in the event of a rocket attack, High Court Justice Dorit Beinisch conceded Thursday.

Beinisch spoke during a court hearing addressing a Sderot resident's petition criticizing the fortification of Israeli communities within Qassam range.

"The children are in danger," a resident of the western Negev town shouted out during the hearing, emphasizing the insufficient fortifications in the region's schools.

The State's response to the petition stated that while children in grades one to three will study in fortified classrooms, children in the fourth grade and up will have 15 seconds to reach a separate shelter after the Color Red alert system is sounded.

2 Qassams land in Israel

Beinisch noted that the solution was less than perfect.

"Thirty children have 15 seconds to get to a fortified structure. This is not enough," she said, stating that movement from the classrooms to a separate shelter in such a short time is problematic and will cause panic. "We're concerned with this '15 second' issue."

The court told the State to submit an updated report on the completion of the fortification works within 45 days.

Meanwhile, two Qassam rockets landed in Israel on Thursday. One landed near a water reservoir in close proximity to a kibbutz in the Negev, while the other landed near a strategic facility in Ashkelon.

No injuries were reported in the first incident, although one person suffered from shock in Ashkelon. No property was damaged.

Oh dear, so you say. Perhaps you can give us some examples, since we are playing some tu quoque.

Quote:
Thus, Israel’s law and practice regarding formal recruitment is in keeping with the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict. Nevertheless, it would be better if Israel adhered to a strict straight 18 policy, not accepting children into the armed forces even as volunteers. Indeed, in Israel in the last decade or two, the military itself has almost nothing to gain from formally recruiting children at 17, rather than at 18. The Israeli military in practice has more conscripts than it needs, and often chooses not to conscript people and groups it could conscript in theory.
In fact this new protocol wants Israel to adopt a strict straight 18 policy- and considers anyone under 18 a child, (ie 17 year olds) and everyone over an adult.

That is the normal line world wide for division into child/adult.

A different case, involving a different population, is that of the Shikmim special education school in Rishon Letzion, as recently reported by the daily newspaper Ha’aretz:
Some 20 of the school's 60 autistic pupils have been reporting once a week for work at the Ordinance Corps' base in Zerifin camp for the last two years. Dressed in army fatigues, the youth sort out uniforms for laundry, wash dishes and set tables in the dining room, clean vehicles in the auto shop, rake leaves or file documents.105

These children are a part of an official military company; they have an officer in charge of them, wear uniforms, etc. They take over the work of other soldiers who serve in that base. While the children are not there to do the work, other soldiers must do it. The news feature also mentions that the initiative for this project came from the army. Indeed, we also know of other similar projects, involving children and adults suffering from various disorders, who “all wear an IDF uniform and perform essential tasks for the Force”.106

These children are not only minors, and for that do not carry legal responsibility for their actions, and should not be recruited. In the case of autistic children, there is solid ground to assume that they have never been presented with all the information necessary for them to make the decision of joining the army part-time. Moreover, in most cases these children cannot fully comprehend the meaning of joining an armed force, and the ultimate purpose of what they are required to do. Apparently, they are also under a lot of social pressure to join in.107

While the Ha’aretz news item cited above refers to these children as volunteers, it seems hardly possible for them to have given their free and informed consent to their recruitment.

Recruiting autistic children???????

Is that a sign of a moral society or Militaristic society????

Quote:
April 15, 2002 13-year old Muhammad Badwan from the Palestinian town Biddo near Jerusalem tied to a Border Police jeep to serve as human shield against stone throwing. Around noon, following the launch of sound bombs and teargas canisters by the soldiers, some nearby youth started throwing stones. At this point, two Israeli Border Guards arrested Mohammed, beat him and forced him to sit on the hood of their jeep, tying his arm to the windshield screen and then using him as a human shield. Attempts by Mohammed's father and others to obtain the child's release only resulted in further threats by the soldiers who dispersed them at gunpoint. Moreover, Rabbi Arik Ascherman, who heads the organisation Rabbis for Human Rights, was present and tried to intervene for the release of the child but was instead arrested and beaten.

Israel use the forced recruitment method.

What next forced labour battalions?
