Thread: Madonna exposes breast on stage in Istanbul

This week while on stage in Istanbul Turkey, Madonna pulled her bra down, exposing her breast. Then she turned around to show a great big stenciled tat reading "No Fear"

I'd like to know what people think about this, especially our Muslim members.

To do that in a Muslim country is astonishing. She could have been jailed or worse.

Madonna has proven once again what a tramp she is.

Was Madonna's tramp-ness ever up for debate? She is a middle aged singer with little talent who survives on shock value.

Good thing it was in Istanbul, the most secular part of Turkey that has traditionally been dominated by the Turkish "Whites".
If this type of incident had happened in other parts of Turkey, she might have been ripped to pieces by angry muslims.

It wouldn't be anything. Many European country is more strict than Anatolian cities. This is a concert, you pay and watch it in a saloon. It is not in the middle of street. Anyway there are even street fashion shows, models with underwears which is not something to be proud however you don't write crap here like in Turkey they cut people for these things. English, French Tourists who can't walk with beer on their hand in London, Paris Streets are walking half naked on the Turkish streets with their beers on their hand and nothing happening to them.

Good post; many, unfortunately, still characterize Muslims/Arabs as medieval puritans. Clearly the OP has never been to a beirut rave.

Seems like you're more annoyed more than any Muslim.

Some people will never understand, that Turkey isn't Iraq, Iran, Syria or any other another bigoted Middle Eastern country and will keep commenting on it like an alien.
