And China and Russia the same.
Both Recently Blocking or Diluting action on Iran and Sudan/Darfur.

Thus it is with the muscular permanent members of the UN security council.

The US has many things other nations are envious of but the criticism is well grounded. Why not tackle every time the US vetoed a UN mandate. Did you know the US vetoed Apartheid in South Africa? C'mon, get to the meat of the argument instead of making hollow or false claims.

Where do you live?

I would like examples of evil the US has done around the world.

We have veto power so why not use it?

Yes it does, and then some. Are those women terrorists? Regardless, we don't need permission to do what we want to do.

I don't have that kind of time. Did you just fall off the turnip truck. If I were to even post half of them this site would crash.

Because we are talking about right and wrong. I noticed you and others glossed over the example I used about the US using it's veto power about stopping apartheid in South Africa. I guess that means you are also support that particular veto. When someone lets terrible things happen because it is done by their nation and their nationalism has blinded them to acknowledge what is wrong from right, then they cannot question the atrocities of others.

Here's one. In 1953, we overthrew the government of Iran, installed a dictator and supported him. He tortured and murdered his own people and we didn't lift a finger to stop it. That came to an end in 1979 when he was ousted from power, our embassy was taken hostage, and the Ayatollah took over.
