After the downfall of Nazi Germany, the German people "washed their hands" of any complicity in the Jewish extermination camps by pleading ignorance. Lower rank German soldiers excused themselves by saying that they were only following military orders. Today, in the Holy Land, the Zionist Jews, with the support of the majority of Israel's population are themselves perpetuating a holocaust against the Palestinian people. After the bodies are counted and the atrocities documented, how will the Jews excuse themselves for committing these crimes against humanity?

Presently, the suffering of the Palestinians is heartbreaking and should trouble the souls of every decent human being. The Israeli blockades and brutally enforced curfews are effectively stopping Palestinian bread winners from going to work. The bulldozing of Palestinian owned olive and other agricultural fields is having a horrific effect on the Palestinian people's ability to survive. The bulldozing of Palestinian homes by the Israeli military and police forces is throwing hundreds of families into the streets. It is collective punishment of a people and the murder of hundreds of Palestinian children and women is a policy of genocide!

The architect of the genocidal policies against the Palestinians is the newly elected Prime Minister Ariel Sharon or "The Butcher of Sabra and Chatila" as he is known in the middle east. He is known as the "Butcher" because, as an Israeli military officer and as a former Minister of Defense, he was responsible for a series of massacres of Palestinians that, in some cases, included the torture and rape of women and the disembowelment of Palestinian children. Some of the atrocities he has committed against innocent Palestinian families are much more horrific than any committed against the Jews by the Nazis. The world should demand that Ariel Sharon be tried as a "War Criminal" as was done with some of the Nazis after World War II. It is incredible that some Jews are now doing worse things to the Palestinians than the Nazis ever did to them. If there are any good Jews left in the world, they should speak out loudly against these atrocities.

Hopefully a courageous nation, possibly Mexico, will introduce a resolution before the United Nation's Commission on Human Rights to condemn Israel for its human right abuses of the Palestinian people. It is curious that the U.S. has proposed a resolution against Cuba but not one against Israel where real and despicable abuses are occurring every day. The military enforced closures that are sealing most Palestinian towns and villages is starving the people and it should be considered a human rights abuse of the worst kind.

We as La Raza de Aztlan can participate in the defense of the Palestinian people. First, we must become educated and informed on what is actually occurring in the Holy Land. We must study the history of the Jews and their diasporas. Why have the Jews been expelled from many of the countries in which they have settled? Why were they expelled from Spain by "Isabel la Catolica"? Why did they have to leave the Holy Land in the first place? What is this so called Zionist Movement that established Israel and displaced millions of Palestinians? Who funded it and who is now supporting it?

One thing for sure, it is your tax money that is indirectly supporting the military onslaught against the Palestinians. The Israeli Armed Forces receive billions of dollars of your tax money as military aid. There are many influential U.S Senators and Congresspersons of Jewish descent that support sending over 8 billion dollars per year in military and other aid to Israel. Both U.S. Senators from Alta California, Boxer and Feinstein, support such aid and both are Jews. We must start questioning the use of our tax monies for such purposes. The Israeli Armed Forces in turn buy billions of dollars of armaments from the U.S. military-industrial complex. Who profits from these sales here in the U.S.? It is certainly not you, the tax payer. This is one reason why we must abandon the Jewish dominated Democratic Party and some day throw out of office both Feinstein and Boxer. Both would rather vote to militarize the US/Mexico border than vote for stopping the militarization of Israel against the Palestinians.

Another strategy for La Raza to use, in defense of the Palestinian people, is to identify and boycott products presently being exported from Israel to Aztlan. Israel presently exports about twelve billion dollars worth of products to the United States. About four billion of this twelve billion is in the form of polished diamonds. Jews have the diamond industry cornered. They control the diamond mines in Africa and the diamond merchants in Amsterdam and pretty much everywhere else. Presently there is a very effective effort to save fur producing mammals because many women of good conscience have refused to purchase fur coats. La Raza buys diamonds principally on wedding rings. We have been brainwashed to believe that diamonds have intrinsic value. The slogan "diamonds are a girl's best friend" was invented by Jews. There are other beautiful gem stones that we could learn to cherish, for example emeralds and rubys. This would entail minimal cultural re-orientation as Chicanos and Mexicanos but perhaps we may lead a world movement to de-value diamonds for the cause of saving the Palestinians. As the world Jewry starts losing more and more money as diamond sales decrease, they would be pressured to agree on an equitable peace with the Palestinians. Don't buy Jewish diamonds!-Justice for the Palestinians!

Last time I checked, the Israelis were not trying to systematically destroy the Palestinians as a race, and they are therefore not committing a holocaust or a genocide or anything like that.

The Holocaust involved rounding up 6 million Jews into cattle cars along with nearly that number of gays, Gypsies and others deemed undesirable, and sending them to concentration camps where they were either worked to death or gassed en masse.

Calling the death of those engaged in murder as well as those caught in the crossfire due to the murderer's cowardly actions a "holocaust" is a travesty of the highest order and is an insult to human beings everywhere.

Holocaust means complete destruction especially by fire. It also means massive slaughter. I don't know if that fits the Palestianian Israeli situation--but its worth examining.

There has been a holocaust in Tibet. And it continues to this day. The Chinese communists have been systematically trying to wipe out the language, religion and culture of the Tibetans since their slaughter of millions in Tibet and the destruction of 6000 monasteries.

I offer that information as context for the question of what constitutes holocaust.

You have a point. I agree that the west appears biased in favor of Israel and seems to be less concerned with the plight of the Palestinians. That is the legacy of the Bush administration. America has in the past attempted to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

Bush has not led foreign policy in that direction--which I think has been one of the many grave mistakes his presidency has made in the Middle East.
