You advocate Nukes for Israel based on the deterrent principle (whatever that means)

So you wouldnthave a problem if Iran, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia developed Nukes as a deterrent?

Do you know what the words moral consistency mean?

The deterrent principle is that people generally don't want to get nuked, so they won't attack nuclear armed nations. However, any nation that is prone to instability should not have nukes on principle because there is a greater chance that they will actually be used. In addition, nations that adhere to suicidal theories of attacking people (such as Islamic suicide bombers) should not have nuclear weapons just in case they decide that it is worth getting nuked in order to nuke someone. That is dangerous, and should be prevented.

There is nothing you can do about it anyway - its so simple to build a nuclear weapon anyway - the difficulty is obtaining the fissionable material and the effectiveness of the weapon is highly dependent upon the delivery system (ie missles etc)
