A symbolic funeral procession took place today in the memory of the martyrs of the Israel-Lebanon war of 2006.

The names of the martyrs will always be not only in the heart of every Lebanese citizen but in the heart of every freedom loving man in every country.
These men made the ultimate sacrifice in their fight against the terrorist regime of Israel.

Hezbollah organized Friday a symbolic funeral procession for the martyrs of the Sincere Promise who fell during the Israeli war against Lebanon in 2006.

The bodies of the martyrs were retrieved in the framework of Operation Al-Redwan that took place Wednesday between Hezbollah and Israel. The remains of some 200 Lebanese and Arab martyrs, some of who fell in the late 70’s, as well as five Lebanese detainees including Samir Kintar returned home in exchange with two dead Israeli soldiers captured on July 12, 2006.

By the way, during that war Israel destroyed bridges in every part of Lebanon. Israel bombed bridges even in the Christian heartland north of Beirut.

Israel today extended its assault on Lebanon, making its first major attack on the Christian heartland north of Beirut and destroying four key bridges providing a vital aid supply route.
The Israeli air force strikes severed Lebanon's last significant road link to Syria, stopped a convoy carrying 150 tonnes of relief and cut what the UN called its "umbilical cord" for aid supplies.
Five Lebanese civilians were killed and 19 wounded in the bombing raids, which hit Christian areas in which Hizbollah has little support or presence.

So let me get this straight, these men join a terrorist organization and that organisation makes unprovoked attacks against Israel for years, captures some soldiers (and it isn't the first time) and we are supposed to commemorate them when Israel fights back?

I don't feel sorry for them. These terrorists got what they deserved.

The IDF has killed over 34 Palestinian civilians for every Israeli killed over the past 40+ years of occupation.

Why doesnt Israel do the following

1. Leave the Occuppied territories
2. Recognise Palestinian sovereinty
3. DIsmantle the illegal seccurity wall which has been erected on Occupied land
5. Rid itself of nuclear weapons
6. Sign the Nuclear Non-Poliferation Treaty - JUST LIKE COUNTRIES LIKE IRAN does
7. Allow world nuclear weapons inspectors on Israeli soil JUST LIKE IRAN DOES
8. Stop terrorism, kidnapping and killing Palesitinian civilans.
10. Stop violating the 4th GENEVA convention by its actions in the Ocuppied territories

Why doesnt Israel do the following

Which occupied territory? as far as I know Israel has disengaged from Gaza and the west bank year ago.



Just as soon as Palestinians recognize Israels right to exist.

As soon as the Palestinian authority cracks down on terror groups like Islamic Jihad and an elected Terror group Hamas.

As soon as Iran and Syria recognize Israel and start peace negotiations.

They are a soviergn nation they have a right to sign what they please.
