Default "The Walking Dead" - Does anybody else watch it?

"The Walking Dead" is a TV show based on a comic book, from what I understand (I've never seen the comic book). I & a lot of my co-workers watch it & we enjoy yapping about it on Mondays. It's on AMC, Sunday nights. There are 4 episodes left(I think) of this season, its 2nd. If you like zombie movies, you should like this.

These are "Webisodes" from the series...and just as scary, if not more so, than the series itself!

A friend of mine mentioned it the other day. Its about zombies or something? She likes it, although zombies are not really my thing. I am not sure what channel its on over here though, or even what time.

My wife LOVES zombie movies, so we watch it every Sunday. It is a pretty good show, but it is more about survival post apocolypse than zombies. The zombies show up in every episode, but they don't pose much of a problem anymore except in large groups. The acting is good and the story line is pretty engaging. I'm not a huge fan of zombies, but I still like the show.

Have you or your wife watched the "webisodes" yet? I think they're pretty good.

It's on American Movie Channel(AMC), which you may not get. But, you should be able to watch it on the internet. It's worth looking for.

Yes, my husband and son like it. The new series just started. They watch it and I watch it by default. I am sometimes put out of the room for making comments which apparently "ruin it". Stupid zombies don't exist you know.

It has some good characters to be fair. The evil one reminds me of an over-exaggerated caricature of a certain US mentality we sometimes see on this forum.

The guy who is the lead is a decent actor. He's done a few interesting series here. But I can't believe they took him as hero/romantic lead when they could have had the other guy who was in Strike Back with him and is much better looking

    Naa....not good looking.

    Ya...fwoar...

    "The Walking Dead"
It's one of the highest rated cable shows, so a lot of people do watch it. I think it's great. It's one of the few shows that has lived up to the hype.

I love this show. I just wish, however, they'd have more in the plot then soap opera type dribble.
