Hi, I'm a Democrat. We will butt heads from time to time because I'm also a capitalist. Good luck in your postings, at least you seem to have an education and don't believe everything you see on the internet. As you see, most here are knee jerk reactionists who don't really know the difference between a Communist and a Fascist. They get most their info from the movies and comic books. Trying to sell Communism as a viable alternative is going to be difficult, a lot harder when the economy recovers during Obama's second term.

It is based on Marx´ and Engels´ scientific socialism. You represent the utopian socialism at the most.

It is just clear that you are just a modern pseudo-leftist anarchist, who would not be tolerated in any socialist country. You are just a phenomenon like those on the images above, that appears only in capitalist countries, which preach the destruction of all values. You have no values, you are just judging those who have, failing to see your sick worldview full of perversion and antagonism.
What exactly have you read of Marx, when? Usually we find libraries contain a few right-wing books about Marx, travesties, and never the text criticised, let alone the developments offered by later thinkers (of whom Stalin was not one). It is always difficult, whatever the subject, to debate anything with those who know nothing whatever about it, so let's have your qualifications please.

So you claim, that you know everything about communism? And why do I am the only one, whose knowledge you question?

Nobody knows everything about communism (or socialism), but I was born in the only large community in the UK ever to have a communist mayor, Harry Pollitt, Chairman (I think it was) of the Communist Party of Great Britain nearly won in our constituencey, my Father's best Friend was also a friend of Paul Robeson and my Father had spoken on CP platforms as a boy. I first worked for the Labour Party when I was thirteen, was Secretary of the Socialist (left of Labour) Club at university and edited a socialist magazine. I was Secretary of a Socialist Workers' Party Branch and later a Labour Party Constituency Membership Secretary, as well as holding various local union offices. My thesis was about political developments in the thirties in relation to a particular writer. Ithink I can claim, having also done a fair bit of reading, to know something of the subject.

You are not the only one whose knowledge I question: their name is legion. I just happen to be talking to you.

GDR had wage-labour. Wage-labour are capitalist relations of production, and hence the GDR was capitalist.

No it's not. Marx and Engels said a DOTP was based on direct democracy, which was no existent in GDR. Marx and Engels said wage-labour was a characteristic of capitalism.

Money, capital, wage-labour, commodity production, subtraction of surplus value. Sounds mighty socialist indeed!

Marx and Engels said socialism was a classless society without state. There were social classes and a state in GDR, hence it was not socialist. Neither was it a workers' state, since it had a head of state, unnacountable, unmandated, public officials.

I don't care about you and your state-capitalism.

I'd like to know how communism can defy all the laws of human nature when you don't even have a workable definition of human nature.

Well, this GDR made book (about 5000 new books were annually published in the GDR) provides you with comprehensive dictionary all about socialism on more than 1000 pages. The list of authors takes 1 and 1/4 pages of doctors.

And why is this booklet more accurate than classical Marxism?

You don´t get it? Again: It is not because they are gay, but because what they do is offensive. They should try to keep their likings in their badrooms just like the others. I don´t know, why you call it racism.

Do I have to explain socialism to you again?

    You will never learn, or?

And I would prefer to die rather than to live in your "communism".

It is also based on some decades of socialist practtical experience. But well, it does not violate marxism.
