The President passed a new law last spring stating, that he could suspend the upcoming president election indefenitly if a National Emergency happens.

Could this be a Conspiracy?? Could this just happen to be the beginning of Dictatorship in America? Is President Bush the next Hitler?

I think, it could be the same as if Ross Perot was elected. Many say he would have put the nation under Marshall Law. And, as Commander in Chief, whatever he said would have went. Therefore, he could have said there would be no more elections, and probably would have still president today.

President Bush said in a speech "I have no intentions on being a lame duck president." I thought lame-duck meant that you aren't able to go up for re-election. So unless he does something like that, he's a lame-duck president.

Unless I'm understanding everything wrong. If so, please feel free to correct me.

I don't think it's as much a conspiracy as it is greed.

Devilvis wants bush out of office!!!

Lame Duck president refers to a president ruling with either the opposing party in power, or a president during the time between the election and the inauguration of a new President. This means that the president's term is pretty much over. When Bush said that he would not be a lame-duck President, he meant that his term was not over and that he still had an agenda to perform. It is nothing nefarious

Furthermore, I would like a link to see this law. I seriously doubt that it was passed considering the Democratic Congress. I also think that it would pretty much be overturned by the courts.
