I had always been led to believe that there is a Muslim brotherhood, and that is why some home grown terrorist quote as to why they see fit to commit terrorist bombing against US or UK targets, because their troops stand on the land of their brother Muslims.

Yeah it's too bad about the Israel/Palestine mess and Iranian Nukes. In theory we could be allies like we are with Kuwaitis and Saudis.

Actually Iran directly helped the US in overthrowing the Taliban and against Sunni extremists worldwide after 9/11, but this was all thrown away after Bush's 'axis of evil' speech and the like, which made Iranians angry and is the reason why the current anti-American President got elected.
