Well, I was opposed to us going into Iraq, but we did it anyway. If this is legit, we should take care of it as this is an ACTUAL threat.

I don't believe Iran will be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. Either Israel or the US will prevent that from happening if necessary.

Israel..Will probably deliver air strikes against sites (ACT OF WAR).. Do you think we will invade? Remember..AXIS OF EVIL..Iran is one of them. They support terrorists..(just like Saddam did) and they actually may have WMDs..

So assuming, all efforts fail to get them to stop developing.....

No need to invade, air strikes should be sufficient to take out the facilities. Wasn't there mention lately of developing small nuclear bunker busting bombs/missiles? I'd guess they are likely more then a dream.

Not too far fetched, either. We bomb Iran. Iran decides to use some WMD's, which they currently have, on Israel. Israel retaliates. All hell breaks loose. Then what? As EuP pointed out, we can't really do anything. We don't have enough troops.

No we don't have enough troops to fight Iran but I don't think there will be a need. If Iran were to lob WMD's at Israel, Israel would turn Iran into a glass parking lot. I'm pretty sure Iran knows that.
