Default Your Perfect CD

If you had to pick 10 to 15 songs to be on what you consider the "perfect" CD, what would they be? To keep it simple, I am restricting my own choices to songs from the "rock and roll era" (c. 1950 to the present), but you can choose any songs you want. Here are the songs that would be on my perfect CD:

“A Summer Song” Chad and Jeremy
“Alone” Heart
“Come Clean” Hilary Duff (Plus the Video)
“Don’t Speak” No Doubt
“Dream On” Aerosmith
“Forca” Nelly Furtado
“Hanging by a Moment” Lifehouse
“I Can’t Stop Loving You” Phil Collins’ Cover
“Iris” The Goo Goo Dolls
“Layla” Eric Clapton
“Look at Us” Sarina Paris
“Sail Away” Enya
“Try” Nelly Furtado

I know that these may be a bit aggressive and extreme for all of you, but try to live on the edge like me. Again, I simply can't resist asking, how much would pay for this compilation? Finally, what songs would be on your perfect CD?

Default My uncanny sense of motivations led me here...

In the days of ipods, I could list hundreds or thousands of songs (if I could afford an ipod, that is). One CD is just not enough for me. But I'll try.
1. Sentenced- Nepenthe
2. Slipknot- Before I Forget
3. Therion- Typhon
4. Circle Jerks- Killing for Jesus
5. Morbid Angel- Eyes to See... Ears to Hear
6. Rush- 2112:Overture and Temple of Syrinx
7. Pat Benatar- Hell is for Children
8. Iron Maiden- Powerslave
9. Mercyful Fate- Curse of the Pharoahs
10. Killing Joke- Requiem
11. Scatterbrain- Don't Call me Dude
12. Cathedral- cover of The Mad Mad World of Alex Brown's "Fire"
13. Paradise Lost- Pity the Sadness

Default Thank You!

Thank you very much for replying. I think that my music threads tend to get so few responses because mine are by far the "softest" musical tastes on the site. I have tried music forums, but they are all dominated by metal and rap fans as well.

Whose CD would sell for the most? What would the demographics of our respective buyers be?

Default Confession

By the way, this may hurt my reputation as the "soft pop" guy, but I do confess to liking one band that played metal, if you count grunge as metal. I like a couple of Nirvana songs when I am in a really gloomy mood.

Default Tedmeister Demographics

I am guessing that the people who would buy the "Tedmeister Jams" collection would be predominantly male, somewhere between 35 and 45 and would have relatively easygoing, laidback personalities. Does that sound right? Now what would the demographics of buyers of the "Forcemaster Favorites" CD be?

How could I have forgotten Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why"?
