Seriously, I think the league should save some time and deliver the 2006 World Series Championship trophy to Steinbrenner now.

Any thoughts?

I haven't followed baseball for a while. Did Steinbrenner get another big name player? By the way, as always, I'm a Red Sox fan.

Johnny Damon, was on the Red Sox when they won the title. The deal was worth $40 million.
