Try THIS for a 1957 slice of pure jazz heaven. PuhLEEEZE sample the track "I Cover the Waterfront."

But Im in a cheap, popular-song type of nostalgic mood today - The Mills Brothers.

Default More Japanese Music...

Tonight I watched an electrifying live performance by Hitomi Yoshizawa and Yui Okada (I'll be watching that one far more than once) of a song called "Touch My Heart", as well as a music video by the Pucchi Moni subgroup of Morning Musume called "Seishun Jidai 1.2.3!". Aside from occasional English phrases, I don't understand a word of it, but I love the singing and the performances nonetheless.

Listened to the Babylon Whores on the way to work today. Saw 'em live once, opening for King Diamond. They were pretty funny. The singer looks like a reject from the cast of Grease.

You listen to ABBA. I'm not criticizing you or ABBA, but they just don't seem like your style.

My dad listens to ABBA also and it's the real black sheep of his cd collection.
Even weirder, my in-laws listen to ABBA. Aside from ABBA I've never heard them listen to anything other than country or Indian music...
There must be some wide appeal to ABBA. I don't get it.
