I don't believe that sex is dirty or shameful, or that it is a secret to most kids that it exists between consenting adults. It is not my religious perspective that sex is a sin. I hope that my kids don't engage in sex before they are emotionally ready, but I accept that it is a part of life that at some point, they will be sexual beings. I'm not in denial about that aspect of my life or character, nor do I feel any shame, at all, about being sexual.

Nor is this a religious board. If kids are posting on this board, I'm fairly certain they are familiar with the concept of sex.
