Default I seen better High School games this year!!

Not really too many good commercials, less cheerleader shots, I like the Stolen Rones, but for the sake of decency , watching those guys do Rock and Roll "Live" is like watching Barnaby Jones in a gang fight!?!

Heard someone of Faux TV suggest they should bring back "Up With People"!! Talk about girly-man??? Please don't!!!

Hahaha. Yeah, the Rolling Stones was a pretty sad choice. Who wants to watch a bunch of senior citizens in tight pants singing forty year old songs at the Super Bowl? I'd rather see some cute young girls and guys singing bad pop music. That would be at least visually stimulating. Oh, and Aretha Franklin and that other guy whose name should never be spoken of again singing the national anthem with a gospel choir? My god, did they rip that song up beyond recognition.

I saw the game at my friends house who has three kids plus I took my seven-month-old along with me. With all the excitement happening in the living room, we barely had a chance to even glance at the game.

Default .

I have to say that the funniest super bowl moment would have to be a tie between the "magic fridge" and halftime.

I thought it was pretty decent game, actually. Nice TD run by Willie Parker, nice interceptions by Seattle, fun trick play by Randle-El and Ward.

Magic fridge commercial was good. Fed Ex commercial was good despite grumbling about the inaccurate history.

Funniest moment revolved around the Go-Daddy commercials. We watched it, then looked at each other blankly. "What was that ad for?" someone asked. The response from all the males present was "we don't know, but we can still appreciate the artistry."

As for halftime: Why do we feature British bands at the Super Bowl?

Default Well...

As far as music goes-- the NFL made a serious SNAFU-- they only added Motown artists after Aretha called them out. But why on earth celebrate Motown/R&B while you're in Detroit? That's like having it in Cleveland and doing a country show... ::SIGH::

Commercials were OK-- did love the magic fridge, and the AmeriQuest ones.

And I won't mention the actual game-- I'll just get pissed all over again...

Default ..

On the radio this morning, one of the DJs was talking about telling his kids: "That's Mick Jagger, he's as old as grandma."

The ads weren't much, but then I figured that the advertisers didn't have the budget to pay for really good commercials after paying for the time slots.

As far as the game goes, one of my co-workers thinks that Seattle got jobbed by the refs. I personally think that there were a few missed calls, but overall the Seattle just gave the game away.
