Default More Musical Complaints...

Another artist I can't stand is Eminem. He's an obnoxious jerk, but that isn't why I single him out. A large percentage of celebrities are obnoxious jerks. I single him out because he endangers free speech. He provokes such outrage that he makes the threat of actual music censorship a real one, censorship that could lead to legitimate art being edited and/or suppressed because of one rapper who constantly uses shock value. I also find Jennifer Lopez very annoying in many, many ways, not the least of which is that she has no singing ability whatsoever. Justin Timberlake and Usher both seem like complete narcissists. Neither Janet Jackson nor Mariah Carey seems to be all there mentally. I also don't like Prince. I could go on for the rest of the day.

If you don't think this is the greatest song ever, I will fight you. That's no lie...

I personally can't stand Dance or Grime (British 'underground' Hip-Hop). Some Grime is so ridiculous as to border on parody, as bad as or worse than the last death-twitches of Gangsta rap in the early 90's.

As for actual artists, I don't like the present day 50 and his clones (the early 50 was OK), David Gray, Lil' John, The Streets and all those crappy Pop acts.

Default I've been undressed by Kings...

Yes, Celine Dion's work is aural cat-vomit.

Classics, my man... all classics!!! Oh yeah, you're bringing back (sick) memories. I was going to make fun of a few of those songs but I began to cringe and couldn't.

I just remember when I was in college, getting oh so drunk and singing You Light Up My Life outside a sorority house off Rugby Rd. A small (drunk) group of us sang up to the hottest girl in the house. I wonder if that girl ever got out of therapy?

No herbal aids are needed to enjoy 'Afternoon Delight'. All you need is steak, waffles, french fries and of course, scotch. (Merlin where the hell are you?)

I just thought of two more song I despise: "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" (who sang that first, by the way?) and "Peaceful World" by India.Arie and John Mellencamp. They make me want to be a Republican... until I hear right-wing country musicians.

In terms of songs I can't stand...pick one off the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)cat Dolls cd. Candy Shop by 50 Cent is pure unrefined horse manure as well as My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas.
Dude, you're getting old!
