I was flipping stations and stumbled across a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)cat Dolls song and wanted to drive my car off a bridge. I hear them all the time and every song is annoying as anything. I can't be the only hoping I read a newspaper headline about their tour bus exploding into a bright orange ball of flame....with them in it. Can I??? They'd be #1 on my list with 50 Cent running second.

In terms of songs I can't stand...pick one off the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)cat Dolls cd. Candy Shop by 50 Cent is pure unrefined horse manure as well as My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas.

Rebellion, you and I have similar musical peeves it seems. I despise the Blackeyed Peas more than the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)cat Dolls and the new single by that Furby chick or whatever about "London Bridge" is right up there on my hate list... along with that "So ya had a bad day" song.
I also despise Gretchen Wilson... probably wouldn't if not for my wife's listening to the country station.
And to go on I hate whiny nu metal, so much that even the rap-style nu metal from the nineties isn't so bad anymore. Hinder is the only one I can name with that particular blend of pseudometal that makes me so sick. The other bands pretty much sound the same.
And emo. Emo sucks.

I can't think of any particular song that stands out, but I can think of some artists: The Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Madonna, Britney Spears, Ja Rule, Nelly and Marilyn Manson. I detest boy band music first and foremost. It isn't simply that they sing falsetto. I've found some men who sing falsetto whose songs I actually like. It's that they seem to be trying to be women in every way- in order to market themselves to straight teenage girls (you figure it out). Madonna I call the "queen of obscene". I'll spare you from another rant about her. Britney Spears is also obscene- plus she lacks any singing talent and acts as if she has the brains of a 10-year-old (if that). I like "old school" (pre-gangsta) rap, but I detest gangsta rap. What I dislike even more than gangsta rap is watered down gangsta rap (Ja Rule and Nelly)- all of the references to an unhealthy culture without the semi-redeeming energy. I also hate Marilyn Manson because he is a blasphemous freak and claims to worship satan. I might add that he stole Pete Burns' 1980's look. I'm a Christian, moreover, so I hate satanism in fringe metal rock.

If Marilyn Manson were to play in a black metal festival in Norway, they'd eat him alive (at least back in their hey day)... They tried to bomb Deicide, for crying out loud, for not being evil enough!

I do have to admit that the Black Eyed Peas do have two songs I kind of like. Manson used to be into Satan I think because he thought it was cool. And because his idol Trent Reznor found it fashionable at the time and and tour mates Danzig were into it.

I never liked the BEP myself, but one solo song by Fergie (a love ballad) sounds excellent from the minute and a half available online.
