I saw this posted on another forum and thought some of you might enjoy it.
http://wavelit.com/?ch=Wildlife&sh=africam It's almost addictive. I feel like I HAVE to watch it. I might see the Missing Link stroll up for a quick drink or something. Certainly wouldn't want to miss that.

I find it beautiful and inspiring. I feel almost as though I am there... untethered in pristine nature. There is a hypnotic, almost spiritual feel to it.

I had it up last night, just before I posted here. I could hear something in the brush moving around. I kind of got lost in the moment. I told my gal-pal to be quiet. Did you hear that?! Something's over there! Shhh!
It took me a couple of seconds to figure out why she was looking at me like this

Hey, I think the sun is coming up! Don't the animals have to go to the watering hole to brush their teeth?

Sabi-sands is about 45min drive from where I am, so WELCOME TO MY WORLD. The cam is nice, but I promise it is GREAT in real life.
Most reserves have these cams now, so if you want some more adresses, just give a shout, and I'll send them along. Better yet, come and visit AH

I hate to admit it, but while I'd love to visit Africa, I'm a little put off -- probably because 95% of American TV and movies portray Africa as a beautiful continent with bucolic villages, where you're having a great time until a bunch of guys with automatic assault rifles drive up in jeeps and kill everyone. I know -- stupid. What do you think about American movies that portray Africa?
