Congratulations on a very thought-provoking thread, Java! My biggest question about Clue is why don't I ever get to be Miss Scarlett?
We've been playing a game lately that we have been calling the Nelson Game. I don't know what the real name of it is though. Everyone gets a notebook or stack of paper. On the first page, everyone writes a word or phrase or whatever, then passes the whole thing to their right. Then they all take at look at what's written, turn the page, and draw a picture of it before passing it to their right again. The next time we only see the picture, turn the page and write words of what the picture is and so on until you get your own notebook back. Everyone then gets to present their story. We played with 7 people and it worked very well. We laughed the whole time, and played it over and over. We declared my mother the winner in the end for turning Santa Claus into a jalapeno pepper. Does anybody know another name for this game?

What you call the Nelson game is also known as "Eat Poop You Cat". Looks like a lot of fun...
http://www.alexandrafinger.com/epyc/ We should start a game on the forum.

Sounds like a fun game. Though I think we should agree to call it the Nelson Game instead of the other title...
We could adapt it for the site by having people find a link to a picture rather than drawing one.

My $.02
We should allow posting of pictures from the internet for those without scanning capabilities. This might hurt some of the creative element but it makes the game more accessible. We need to post an order of players somehow so that we all know who is next... And maybe we should put the name of the person to look at the word on the post to avoid mishaps.

That'll work, but before we start, we need to clarify where people are in the order. Whoever wants to play, add your name to the list, and when we get 5-6, we'll start.
Merlin 12th In the mean time, I can scan, but I don't know how to post an attachment without showing it. The only thing I could do is draw the picture real small, so that you can't tell what it is without clicking on it.
