This is blasphemy What stupidtocity next? A Mustang Wagon, a Mustang Limo ? MAYBE A TRUCK !!!

I realize Ford is desperate an it wants to glom onto a name plate that sells. But these Bozomatics could ruin the last vestage of real Americana that Ford has. The TbIRD IS DEAD AGAIN - OVER-PRICED....

All that Ford had to do was ask me !!! I know cars !!

Two years ago Ford decided to call a new Midsized Lincoln the Zephyr I thought they were joking, BUT THEY DID IT Now they changed it.

I own a Lincoln. Ask me if I would buy a stupidly named car called a Zephyr ? I would have puked and you would have found a normal name.

No one calls a car a Zephyr in 2004! Hell it even sucked in 1939 and in 1980 the last two times they used that dumb name.

Pretty screwed up, eh? The bean counters running Ford now will ride a good horse to death. But after the handful of car people (left at Ford) went into an uproar, the bean counters now claim it wasn't anything they were really going to try. Riiiight.

One of the best car guys at Ford was a actually a woman named Anne Stevens. She... "retired" recently. That's a real shame. She was as good as they came, as far as supporting racing at Ford. I didn't much care for her contribution to the Way Forward Plan... more like the Way Backward Plan, IMO.

And I didn't know you had a Mustang, f100. One of the new ones or one of the classics?

I also didn't know you were a car guy. You should join in on a discussion when Ted, Pinniped and Hard Driver are here. I followed my race car buddies here and now I feel like I've been abandoned.

2006 Mustang ! HAD A 20 New one for now !! When I retire and my cousin and I finish restoring the 56 Mercury I hope to get an old one.
