I've been thinking, had Adolph's mother instead named him Chip, I think we could have averted a world war. Nobody would want to follow a Chip Hitler into battle.

But, in that vein: when I was very young I worked for a company structured in a rigid hierarchy, and my immediate superior (a middle management dweeb) was an evil bastard. Truly evil. But a great whistler. He would, on occasion, throw the head back and whistle like a heedless child sauntering through childhood's summer meadow, lost (as we thought) in the gentle revery of his innocent thought...not a care in the world. But here's the problem. My fellow plebs and I noted, after a time, that he would only whistle so after having visited his superiors and completely shafted one of us - this is what had inspired his air of smug self-satisfaction, inspiring him to flights of reflective, joyful whistling.... But we got him, in the end - he whistled less, as time went on... Perhaps this is how they view your laughter?
