Default An International Geography Quiz

My results aren't very impressive, and I had to guess on many of the questions:

http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?te...75754643837402

Backpacker
Back home at last! You scored 51!
Your geography knowledge is above average, but nothing remarkable yet. You're a Backpacker, you already have some geography-knowledge, but there is still a lot more to learn out there, so grab your backpack and explore the world a bit more!

I appreciate all replies. Thank you very much.

Marco Polo: 69

Congratulations! Your score is quite good, you have truly paid attention when in Geography-class, while travelling the world or watching National Geographic Channel! You are Marco Polo, and if you study your atlas even more you might just qualify to become Ibn Battuta next time!

That's with a lot of educated guesses rather than straight knowledge -- wish it gave you the answers.

Default BOO!

I got backpacker - 53. I missed a couple I was sure of and got a couple of the hard ones right.

I went back and took it again googling to see which ones I missed. LOL Then I got Google-master - 97 (I think maybe the answer to the last question is 42).

I wonder how many knew that Arizona means "small spring". I believe that would have been my last guess.

Very small spring indeed. Is there any water there at all?

Default Ibn Battuta?

95%. I'm sure the one I missed was most densely populated countries. I know there were at least two on that list that didn't belong, if not three. The most densely populated countries are nearly exclusively small geographically like Monaco and San Marino.
