Default Favourite TV shows (and why)

Which shows do you watch come hell or highwater, and why?

Me:

West Wing (love the characters, the writing, the ideas)
NYPD Blue (love the characters)
CSI (always sails close to the wind with subject matter, finally makes forensic science sexy, cool music)[CSI:Miami-Not so much...]
Law And Order (the original, NOT the spinoffs)
Fear Factor (I never cease to be amazed at what some folks will do for money..plus hot bikini-clad babes being dunked in ice cold water has it's own appeal.... )
It's All Relative (just plain funny, plus finding out what new names Mace comes up with for their future daughter-in-law's two gay Dad's is hysterical)
George Lopez (plain, flat-out funny)
My Wife and Kids (Damon Wayans is a funny guy...)

okay, that's enough from me....what about you???

Default Let's see..

West Wing: Been there since the start
Everybody Loves Raymond: Though the writing has been a bit off this year.
Two and a Half Men: Surprisingly Funny.

There are more, and I'll post em when I think about it more.

Default mm hmmm

West Wing (love the characters, the writing, the ideas, but don't like the politics. Haven't kept up though. Used to watch it religiously during it's first season. Now my job sometimes gets in the way)
Law And Order (any, including the spinoffs) ESPECIALLY...
Crimminal Intent (Vincent D'Inoffrio plays an excellent character)
Who's Line is it Anyway? (improv that always gets me laughing)
The rest of the time it's mostly on news, or whatever drivel the girl child wants to watch. (sponge bob, family matters, etc....)

Default sigh...

Watching several years old American TV shows long since cancelled on the other side of the Atlantic. Thats all we get here in Europe, or our local imported versions. (Though the Finnish version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is rather funny)

Sigh...

Default The Simpsons is not a kids show.

THe Simpsons are A great show. One thing though, YOU HAVE TO BE AN ADULT WHO AT LEAST UNDERSTANDS THE 70'S AND 80'S!!!!!! THE SHOW IS A SITCOM!!!! NOT A KIDS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RUGRATS IS A KIDS SHOW!! THE SIMPSON IS A SITCOM THAT COULD NEVER HAPPEN WRITTING OR VISUAL WISE UNLESS IT WAS IN CARTOON FORM.

Default .

My favorite show has got to be The Practice because it has such interesting characters, and I want to be a lawyer. Another good one is Law & Order for those same reasons. Charmed for it's interesting themes and deep characters. And for comedy, Friends.
