So the Constitution overrides the Queen, and the People have control of the Constitution, right?

We had a thread on this about Britain about a year ago. It was very educational. Technically they are ambiguously democratic...The House of Commons is basically where all the real power is. But the Queen can technically override them on some key things, even though she traditionally doesnt. So it is not technically a democracy even though it is a defacto democracy.

Is Austrailia the same way?
