I just watched the last part of the Giants game. We won 16 to 6 or something. JT Snow hit three home runs, Barry Bonds got another one.
The Giants have frustrated me for a long time. I moved to Calif in 1958, they same year the Giants did. And they haven't won a world series in all that time. Go Giants!!!

You answered the question I keep forgetting to ask!! Wow -you must be telepathic or something - I'd been wondering when the Giants moved (I knew it was after 1954 but not how long after....)
I felt for Giants fans last week watching them lose to Pittsburgh.... but I have to admit I was rooting for the Cubs last weekend (sorry - I like Chicago and can't stand Barry Bonds). If anyone knows about loyalty to a losing team though, it's Cleveland fans - of every sport..... Game 1 goes to Cleveland!! We had it won in the first inning and the suspense was pretty much gone after that....looks like it was over for the Giants pretty early last night too Go Tribe!! Go Giants!!

The Giants and Dodgers both moved in 1958. It wouldn't have worked if only one team had moved, because at that time all the teams were out east.
I'm not really telepathic, but I read body language well. Barry Bonds has gotten more human over the years. And he's is just an amazing player. He gets maybe 3 good pitches a game and still is leading the league in batting average. Plus he has shattered the walks record, with more intentional walks than any team has. He gets on base more than any one and has an incredible slugging percentage. I'll root for the Tribe. Maybe we'll get Cleveland v SF.

...ain't bad. I went into the Minnesota series just hoping to to win the series. I wasn't really hoping for the sweep until we scored first (again) yesterday and held the lead for more than five innings. Oh well..... here comes Texas.....
Didn't see how the Giants did yesterday - did you sweep?

...Want to guarantee a Cubs loss? Put in Kyle F***ing Farnsworth.....
I cannot figure out why this lump hasn't been clipped yet...every single time he steps onto the mound the opposing team starts to salivate...And with good reason....he absolutely sucks...he is so bad if you ran a mortuary people would stop dying.... End of rant.

I keep telling myself that I don't want to settle for being the Wild Card team but I'll take the playoffs however we can get it. On the other hand, I really want to see Minnesota go down.......they get the Yankees this week so that should be a start

The Marlins may have been but were the Yankees?
Just seems like a sneeky way to get in - I'd rather go in with a command of first place (just an ego thing, I know Of course, the regular season record is erased as soon as the playoffs begin but still..... I'd just feel better......
