Default What languages do you speak?

Just curious of how many languages people here can speak. I'll start:

Finnish (as mothertongue), English (technically my second mothertongue), French (speak might be a little too strong of word), German (can read, and comprehend to some degree)

And swearing in various other tongues.

Default Wow

Oh wow you speak Greek?! That is superb. Anyways, the only language I am really fluent in is English, but I have studied both Spanish and French some. It may take me a few minutes, but I can usually figure out what's going on in those languages, even if I'm not 100% accurate. I also have this random love and knack for Latin, which I am about to study. It's very pretty.

Default :)

I've heard people fluent in Latin speak it and fell in love with it then. I plan to take a lot of it in college if I can, making it one of my prime studies. But Greek!! That is way awesome!

I studied latin for 3 years, the great thing is that one understands sentence structure so learning new languages is lot easier, one only has to learn the words!

I recently aquired a book, some of it contains satirical writings, and its in latin, i need to aquire a latin dictionary

Default Trilingual is my goal by 2009!

I am currently only "fluent" in English (Always learning new words, no one truly speaks a language perfectly ). I am also taking French now and will be having a French student here for three weeks over the summer. Also, in August I begin to take Japanese, which I am looking forward to so much!

Just english really. I've always been fairly embarassed how the American society does not push for learning more langauges. For what it is worth the schools have tried their best, but there is only so much you can dump off on the schools before it gets to be too much.
