He could have played his cards right and not have been so arrogant about it. He should have followed in Willie Nelson's boots and just liquidated his property and complied with them to avoid jail time. But....part if not most of me still see's it as noble to stand up to the feds and their unfair taxation.

It was when he claimed he was only being persued because he was black that made me wish he got hard time, and he has, although like every celebrity, he'll likely be out by the end of the year.

He was found guilty of not filing taxes. He has already made available the funds ($5,000,000.00) to pay the fines late fees and back taxes. He was found guilty of a couple mistameaner offences and all the felony stuff was dropped/dismissed. The judge gave him the max possible out of spite and it will be reduced upon appeal especially once they see he is willing to pay the debt.

He will get his celebrity status recognized before it is over and done!
