They did portray the islamofascist as smart...but they maintained the real world reality. That those people simply cannot hope to equal American technology.
Its true in the real world as wel. |

I am sure it is no coincidence that this is also the first Marvel movie that was not outsourced to another studio...that would explain why the characters actually remained true to the comic, and why there were no stupid plot devices like "organic web shooters" and "gamma ray dogs". It was all just as it should be.

It was awesome. Did you stay until the end of the credits and see the sequel hint? Very cool! Samuel Jackson will make a great Nick Fury.

Ill have to check this movie out. I was never a big Iron Man fan growing up, always was more of a X-Men and Wolverine fan. But ive heard a ton of really good things.
If there is an Avengers or Captain America movie coming out that will be cool. Dont know how much I care about a Thor movie though.

I agree Thor would be cheesy... but I'd still want to see it. What about the less important Avengers who don't have their own comics (to my knowledge... SS may prove me wrong) like Hawkeye or that Wasp chick? Really I want them to do Dr. Strange. But I don't see that being anything other than another straight-to-video (Like the little-known Man Creature or whatever it was called... kind of a Swamp Thing type only mean... never heard of it before the movie, but that was apparently Marvel).
