I would love to go to one of these classes, even though I am not expecting! It just sounds so interesting, it's not the sort of thing I'd read a book during, I'd be sitting up and taking note of everything being said!

Yeah - we watched a video last night. In fact, Gary's wife was the only one who didn't want to watch it (talk about a couple in denial) but she did anyway and then said `jeesh, was that all? How easy was that?'

The video was fine - not that bad. Showed everything but then the baby comes and everyone cried. Including one of the men (obviously not Gary). It's pretty amazing. I would imagine, in fact, that there's nothing else like it. I can't wait.

I know - it's not like it's going to be fun or anything. But still, everyone I know whose been through it said they would do it all again tomorrow, for the rush you have and the way it makes you feel. And of course, the little kicking bubby in the end.

I was in the delivery room for the birth of my child, nothing to it, I cant see what all the fuss is about.

All you need is a good set of headphones on your walkman, a bit of gloria gayners "I will suvive" to sing along to, a copy of war and peace frodders and as the food is never any good in hospital, I took a picnic with me.

I can recommend a nice light repast of Hard Boiled egg salad

Actually they told us that - bring lots of food for your fella. Lol.

The Chesboy is a tad concerned though, as I will most likely be in labour and / or delivering during one of the final stages of the Tour De France. When he found out there is a telly in the delivery room he was pretty happy!
