Yes breastfeeding is covered - but mostly it's what to expect during labour. You know, the three stages, things that can go wrong, the types of interventions you can have, caesarian sections (both elective and emergency), features of the newborn, how long it generally takes - the whole thing.
That's the first two lessons. Then you start with breastfeeding (which is what we're up to now) and then the last two lessons are on after the baby's born, taking it home, some common problems, sleep, your relationship etc.
It's actually very, very informative and really helps you feel much more prepared for the whole birthing experience. I think things have changed a lot for pregnant women these days! Mum told me she had one scan the whole time and then you gave birth and that was it. Things are really different now, aren't they?
