I didn't know that Americans were known as obnoxious travelers. My first guess would have been the smelly people of the world like the Indians, or the French, like the poll indicates.

Well, I guess I might expect that from an electrician, but the people that I found stinking in France (and all the other European countries for that matter) were people in shirts and ties that just showed up to work for the day. They stink worse than I could after 3 days of hard labor and no shower. It seems to me that it's ok in Europe to show up to work in an office environment and smell like a bum's nut sack. I'm not saying there are no Americans that don't wear deodorant, or take showers, I'm saying those things seem abhorrent to many Europeans. Know what I mean?
