Default The Bourne Trilogy (** may include spoilers**)

Any other fans of these movies? I'm liking them a lot.. great locations, nice wiimin (Famke and Stiles), good story.

I just saw the Bourne Ultimatum.. that chase sequence through Waterloo Station was one of the best chases I've seen. No fancy explosions or car crashing.. just people walking and talking, but very well put together.

Theme music is also great. Heres a vid..

Yeah, i enjoyed the movies but i preferred the books a heck of a lot more, at least the books were not all 'government conspiracy' but a battle between a government agent and a world class assassin.

I enjoyed the first one, The Bourne Identity. Sequels often get too repetitious on the same themes for my taste.

I didn't read the books (and probably wont... again with the repetition) which is a shame since it was a good storyline and I usually enjoy reading over watching films.

The first one was fine, but my wife and I almost left the second because we both got headaches and nausea from the fast moving scenes. It might've been good, but I didn't like it just because of that.

Yeah the Carlos the Jackal character from Ludlum's books would have been nice to have.. but I guess it was too coldwarish pre911 for the 21st century Jason Bourne.

Nonetheless, the Bourne movies still had a coldwar feel to it which I liked.. maybe because of all the various european locations and trains.

yup yup those were very good. That train station was Waterloo Station.. great chase. Incredible how exciting it was considering that there were no cars or explosions or any of the usual special effects one would expect from a modern action film.

I loved them. Great movies. And my favourite scene was in The Bourne Supremacy when he is being held at the airport and is all quiet and then BAM! Action stations.... coooool.

Ted - I hope you don't mind but I changed the title to put `spoilers in here' just in case there's some people like Lita who haven't seen them. Since we're discussing favourite scenes, and all.
