Simply because they dress in a way that is practical to their climate? As I explained, the way they dress doesn't arouse desire in any serious way, so what is the problem?

Dressing in a 'proper' way will simply avoid harmless desire, but will do little to avoid 'unwanted' desire.

Default Advice to political

This is the off-topic forum, political. I am a devout Christian, and while I have made hundreds and hundreds of off-topic posts, I only once (when quite thoroughly provoked) gave a religious lecture in the off-topic chat. I regret even that one occasion. If you want to preach your religion, it would be far better to do so in the religion forum:

Thank you and peace be on you.

Default Returning to the Original Subject...

As a man (I'm 21- to put my opinions in context), I think that attitude and, for lack of a better word, charisma are more important than aesthetics. What makes my heart beat faster is a certain joie de vie combined with intensity- ultimately an indefinable quality. There is nothing objective- only subjective but true- about beauty. Beauty is an art not a science, and beauty comes from within. A beautiful personality projects itself into what we call attractiveness. To me, no one can compare with this singer in genuine allure (I'm still the Puritan, so the photos are very decorous):

She is Hitomi Yoshizawa, and if you are familiar with her, you know that she is also an excellent singer with a deep, strong, sincere voice, which is also irresistible. (Pardon my effusiveness.) Coincidentally, she was born just three days after me. She was born on April 12, 1985, while I was born on April 9, 1985.

Default I have a new one

Ginnifer Goodwin. She plays Margene, the third wife on Big Love. Very, very cute and she reminds me of a girl I had a crush on in college. One thing I like about Ginnifer is that she apparently hasn't bought into the Hollyweird ideal; that women and girls should look like stick figures with no hips.

well sir i respect you but i dont see any rule that you cannot have a discussion in oiff topic chat.the forum as a whole is a place of discussion.if you dont like it you can avoid the debate pal

now back to our debate

nudity suits no climate but is just vulgar

Quote:

for unwanted desire of people you are not responsible for it as you have obeyed the command of god by dressing in a proper manner

Quote:
I'm not sure what you mean by that.
it simply means that you have to follow the injuctions of god more than your desire-like in ramzan we muslims fast from dawn to dusk-we feel like eating but dont because god says us to fast and we are his obident followers.

But if He punishes people, then He can't be benevolent.
he only ounishes the grave sinners and forgives many of our sins so he is merciful.

Of course nudity suits certain climates. Nudity is natural, clothing is unnatural and only practically suits cooler climates.

But if you are going to arouse that desire no matter how you dress, why shouldn't you be allowed to dress how you want?

But that wasn't relevant to the part of my post you quoted.

But not all-merciful.

arabia has the hottest climate but yet people there dress in a decent manner and wear loose dresses to suit the climate

it is important for the values and morals

One of these days you're going to be met at the door by a girl waiting for you to give your opinion on her appearance... JUST her appearance. To address her shouldn't require a whole heck of a lot of deep thought. And if it does, you're probably going to be staring at a closed door in your face pretty quick. It may be superficial, but that's also the long & short of this thread. It's just for fun, guys. Ya know, fun? Laugh. Smile. Giggle.

As for dress, I find women who dress tastefully in public to be much more appealing than women who have this need to show it all (or at least most of it). I like exotic and classic beauties. I like women who can at least ACT like a lady (in public anyway ). I'm not at all attracted to tramps. An air of style, innocence and even shyness, along with a sense of humor, will catch (and hold) my attention long before some trollop who just wants me to see how big her store-bought breasts are. But some guys like being seen with skeezers and sk@nks. To each his own, I guess.
