I doubt you'll catch hell, but thanks for letting us know!
I figured you'd be the one with a reaction... and while antagonizing people can be fun, I really was just hoping to get us back on topic. Silly me.

Default Rugby isn't a common sport in the U.S.

It's akin to lacrosse...another support that requires supreme athleticism and stamina...

The average little boy or girl in the U.S. is playing 1) soccer, 2) little league, 3) football, 4) basketball. Most high schools in the U.S. don't HAVE rugby teams, so it follows that our unis would have a much smaller pool of talent to recruit from when it comes to filling their rosters than they do when recruiting for the big 4 in the U.S.

yes, but american football isn't played here either. yet rugby players can play a-football better that a-footballers can play rugby.

though all that aside. is watching rugby not more enjoyable? imean it 'flows' to many stoppages in a-football. i mean they stop paly of TV ADVERTISEMENTS - i was so shocked when i heard that, i couldn't beleive that was allowed to happen..imean stop a game....for TV - that was so, so surprising.

Default So much for boring

Anyone else see Yankee outfielder Gary Sheffield almost get in a fight with a Boston fan in the stands last night?

I love this rivalry
