Yea, it is nail-biting time. We New Yorkers never know if our Yankees will fall apart and only make it to the American League Championship Series or if they will live up to expectations and sweep the World Series.
I guess Boston could win again this year, but they will need to find another fan who doesn't mind selling his or her soul to Satan to make it happen. LOL

When was the last time you actually won a Series anyway? Are you starting to feel cursed?? I do find it funny that Sunday before the first game, there was talk of whether Boston would be a dynasty. Highly doubtful considering they gave half of last year's team to the Mets. I think it's time to start working on some of these other curses - how about the Cubs winning one? Or, dare I say, the Tribe??????? Long shots both, especially as our bullpen seems to be up to its old tricks but a person can dream. Finally, yes, the Yankees are the spawn of satan and must be destroyed.

working for their master, Satan (aka Herr Rove).
Now what would be really cool is the Royals having an actual baseball team this year. I might have to start watching baseball again. Catz

They're the John Mellen Cougarcamps of baseball - make a decision already!
However, a quick check on ESPN (you may have heard of it - quite a wonderful little resource tool, that) shows they are 1-1 and play at home against Texas later tonight...
