So, I decided to go back to school. I'm going to Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, with the assistance of gratuitous amounts of government education grants, to pursue degrees in political science, philosophy, and economics. To stay fully focused on this goal, I won't be coming back on here after today--probably for a year or more. So long, PF! It's been fun.

I get the distinct feeling that you are not actually going to stay away. I first joined this site a few months after graduating college. I averaged about 7 posts a day. I went back to college after a year off, and when I did my number of posts went up dramatically. You will have a great deal of free time in college. If you are away at school, living on campus much of that time will be taken up by such activities as drinking, the social use of illegal substances, and casual sex. But I feel as if you will still have plenty of down time where you can come onto PF every so often and say hello!!


If you really are leaving, I wish you the best. You are one of my favorite posters. And I assure you if you take even 1 advanced history class, you will not do as Thad thinks and join the dark side.
