My only prediction - The Browns are going to suck. Again.
Had a fight with someone recently who decided to become a Ravens fan - his advice to Clevelanders about the theft of our team? "Get over it! You got your team back!" I had to remind him that we did not get our team BACK so much as we got a sucky replacement team.... Or, as one of our own sports talk show hosts said recently, "we have a chance to win four, five games this year!"

Vikings are looking really harsh so far. Culpepper misses Moss I guess. Raiders blew several chances to win last night, including the end. And I hate to blame refs, but they took a TD away from Moss on a total bs call. They didn't even pull the flag until the defensive back started whining.

Yeah. Although with Moss it can be hard to tell. He likes to put both hands on the DB right before catching the ball; if he doesn't want to be flagged, he shouldn't do that.
Anybody else notice that Moss has another excellent game, but his team still lost? Sometimes he seems to have that effect. Although it seemed clear that he really wants to play for the Raiders. He was working hard every play, it looked like -- something he wasn't doing in his last couple of seasons here on the tundra. I think the Vikes will get it together by midseason, anyway. The RBs looked a lot better yesterday, and that final drive wasn't too bad. I think the offensive line is still a work in progress. That, and the receivers are having a hard time getting open -- and Daunte is having a hard time seeing them when they are. This has LOONNNNGGG season -- and Tice's head on a platter -- written all over it.

it's more Al Davis relationship with the league. If the ref had pulled the flag from the get go then I'd buy that argument. But he didn't even reach for the flag until the guy complained. And then of course the review showed it was a complete makeup call, he didn't even touch the guy. I think the loss is the fault of poor coaching and lack of imagination with offense. Which apparently is nothing more than "go deep" and ignore the entire middle of the field. This includes making sure you throw no screens routes that go through the middle. Play calling was atrocious two weeks now.
Tice might get fired after four weeks. So far it looks like those who said Culpepper's numbers looked better than they should be because of Moss are true. So far Collins has no INT's and great stats, which is a new thing for him. Minn needs a receiver other than Koren Robinson, someone who can get open.

The Chiefs showed how deep their offense really is...when Priest Holmes was injured, Tony Gonzalez and Dante Hall stepped in and did the job.
And it looks like they finally have a D, as well.

The Chiefs will soon become inconsistent, so they should scrap up as many plays as they can til teams figure out their defense. They'll wildcard at best
