If you're right we'll see the highest scoring Super Bowl in history.
I don't think KC has the defense or the staying power to make it to the AFC title game. I think you'll see either Pittsburgh, New England or the Raiders facing Indianapolis. I like your NFC predictions, but then I'm a Vikes homer. Realistically either Atlanta or Carolina could knock them off.

I like Surtain and the other KC additions to their D. I think Simon will help the Colts D as well and give them the inside presence they need. Unfortunately the Raiders are the ones with the real holes on D. So any predictions?

Okay, my predictions:
AFC division winners: Pittsburgh, New England, Indianapolis, San Diego Wild cards: Kansas City, Tennessee AFC Title game: Pittsburgh/Indianapolis Note: I almost slotted San Diego into the title game. Won't be surprised if it happens. NFC division winners: Minnesota, Philly, Carolina, St. Louis Wild cards: Atlanta, Detroit NFC title game: Minnesota/Philly Super Bowl: Indianapolis/Minnesota

After 15 years of crappiness for my Steelers, (Okay, it was pretty good, but no Super Bowl trips) the Iron Curtain is back in business. The lack of Ty Law and Tedy Bruschi is what's going to let the Steelers get past the Patriots this year. (And Big Ben's a second year now, no more of those nasty rookie mishaps.)
The only thing standing between Pittsburgh and the Super Bowl this year is the Colts. But when you pit great defense against great offense, I'm putting my money on the defense. (as last year's trouncing of the Colts by the Pats taught us.)

Thats pretty sad hill, it took the patriots losing two of their best for the steelers to have a chance.... hmmm....
Still, nothing is stopping the patriots from winning again this year and overcoming even the 60s packers and 70s steelers to become the greatest dynasty ever..... and then some. |

I haven't really been following pro ball closely lately, so mine will probably be WAY off, but here goes:
AFC division winners: New England, Indianapolis, and (as much as it pains me to say both of these) Denver, and Pittsburgh Wild cards: Cincinnati, Jacksonville AFC Title game: Cincinnati/Indianapolis (a girl can dream, right?) NFC division winners: Philadelphia, St. Louis, Tampa Bay and (don't laugh) Detroit Wild cards: New Orleans, Atlanta NFC title game: Philadelphia/New Orleans (making it a TOTAL Cinderella Story) Super Bowl: Indianapolis over Philadelphia Quote:

The Vikes are due! But of course in Viking style they will make the playoffs and then fizzle.
I'm a bit disappointed because I just spent a big chunk of change for the DirecTV NFL Season Pass to watch my beloved Broncos, but after their first game it's not looking to be a good season. |
