He may not be the man his daddy wan (There can be only one Luke the Drifter), but I think Bocephus would make a great Senator and he can always have some friends in low places come give him advice along with all his rowdy friends.

And just voted for themselves raise

10 months ago is having just voted themselves a raise? Seems disingenuous to me.

Additionally, raises for congress are part of federal law. Congress can not just vote themselves a raise.

All I see is people saying "he drinks" we all do. Or "his music sucks", he is running for senate you dont have to like his music.

I am fine with people opposing him, I would just like to know why they oppose him? I mean, there is finally a guy who would truely be for the American people, and you guys turn him down.

Education doesn't necessarily mean anything in the real world and has nothing to do with intellect. Some of the most clever and successful people in the world dropped out of school. Bill Gates for example.

I do like seeing people get into politics who are not career politicians, but I know nothing about Williams. If he can get elected then good for him. He couldn't possible do a worse job than the politicians we have now.

Default Hank Jr.

I am familiar with his music, and in numerous songs he speaks of his distress with the American Government. If he has logical plans, and can carry them out why not pursue your aspiration. Education doesn't justify if your going to be a great leader or not, it depends on the motivation of the respective person running for a seat.

Matt, I tip a few too, but not when I have responsibilities to take care of. How do you get loaded and stagger out on stage and face people who paid to see you perform and do it well. I paid good money for those tickets by being responsible and doing my job and not getting loaded before I did it. All my respect for the guy went down the tubes when he couldn't even remember the words to his own songs, I PAID TO SEE HIM SING. Buffalo Bill's isn't the only venue he's done that in. It's a shame because I like his music. I like Jodee Messina and Charlie Daniels, but I bought the tickets mainly to see Hank and they weren't cheap. Sorry I guess my disappointment colors my opinion, how couldn't it.

He's only a country music legend because of his daddy, and he carried on a tradition of being drunk and beligerant to his audiences. Minimal talent. He won't become a political figure, and if it should happen some how, he'll blow it every chance he gets and be sent packing. What a silly show it would be.

I agree, just like Al Franken.
