The Red Sox will beat the White Sox, the Yankees will beat the Angels, and the ALCS will be a lot of fun.
Hopefully, you did not place money on that!

Default Posada was safe

actually every analyst on ESPN and Fox agreed. That call on Cano was horrible. They blew a run in the first with the missed hit and run call by Bernie. And then the collision that scored 2 runs. And then a bunch of bloop hits in the 3rd. Yankees should have won that game 5-3 at the absolutel least. The Angels were SOOOO lucky to win that game, what a crap way to lose.

Default Oh well

A-Rod choked anyway, he blew it in so many ways...errors costing them game 2 and a 9th inning double play last night. And 6 errors, they didn't play like champions so can't say they deserve it.

Still, the Yankees repeatedly let scoring opportunities get away from them just as they had done all season and throughout the ALDS.
True.

Or would you like to blame that little collision in the outfield, which should have been a routine play, on the umpires as well?
No. The crowd was mostly responsible for that (consider that the players couldn't hear each other) and the fans are the reason why teams want home field advantage. I am surprised the fans weren't more aggressive when Matsui reached into the crowd to grab the foul ball. I guarantee if that was Yankee Stadium, not only would the left fielder NOT catch the ball, but his arm would be broken...in at least two places. LOL

True. I think many changes will be made during the off season.

Default guess I missed it

Cleveland choking and not making the playoffs at all...was that a dream?

Default No

Nope, not a dream. But I didn't come on here and whine about it, blaming the umpires and opposing team's fans, etc. I was depressed and sad but it was our own (*)(*)(*)(*) fault. We played lousy, couldn't score to save our lives and, generally by the end, didn't deserve to make it into the postseason. We shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly. We're a young team and couldn't handle the pressure. Simple as that.

Unfortunately, Yankee fans seem intent on blaming everyone but their team for their losses when A-Rod choked, Randy Johnson was erratic all year, etc.

Default ..

I said above that A-Rod choked, but there is also no doubt that the Angels were fortunate, to say the least, to win that game 5. For a number of reasons. But karma came back and paid them a visit last night.
